Elite Tactical Simulations (ETS) is a group primarily set up to provide LARP Airsoft & Military Simulation (Milsim) scenarios throughout the UK. Our focus is on storyline, context and realism including acting and improvisational role-playing as appropriate to the scenario.

ETS was established in March 2006 and has worked closely with Stirling Airsoft Ltd and Airsoft Skirmish Ltd in order to contribute some level of extra reality to their airsoft games. We have a wide and diverse array of people within our team focusing on characterisation and tactical realism; in essence we provide the backdrop characters and a strong opposing force (OPFOR). Every team member brings extra colour and realism to the airsoft & military events they attend. Our objective is simple: Make the overall scenarios/events look & feel realistic.

In a military simulation where the scenario is a hostage extraction, ETS might provide the staff to cover such roles as kidnappers within the target building, the hostage(s) and any other incidental roles which might be required to add realism, e.g. police officers/ambulance drivers/negotiators/government officials etc. Our staff will act appropriately and have the ability to suspend disbelief, in other words, in a real situation the kidnappers might be unaware that the extraction team are planning an assault at a given time or indeed may even be unaware of the presence of such a force. Playing the roles of the kidnappers we would act as if having no knowledge of this and indeed stay in character throughout the exercise, including providing realistic opportunity for detailed reconnaissance and reacting convincingly to 'surprise' attacks. This 'role' can be expanded as far as acting with accents, full costumes, props, communication issues or even portraying mental states of mind appropriate to the situation.
